What could have been a dope performance between two greats, Billie Eilish and Vince Staples, just didn't turn out as expected. Staples joined Eilish on stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California to perform their hit song &burn, but to the fans dismay, there was a mic malfunction.

Billie has referred to Vince as being "a god." Commenting during an interview that his work made him her top choice to feature on the song.

“Vince Staples was my NUMBER 1 choice, so when we got him to hear it and he agreed to do, it was incredible and the verse he did is so mf good,” she said. “He is a god and I’m excited for it to finally come out!”

So you can imagine the excitement from fans expected to witness the magic on stage. However, with the malfunction, Twitter fans were not having it. Fans directed their anger towards the festival for not turning on Staples' mic.

One user tweeted: "watching the coachella livestream heated that I couldn't hear vince staples' feature during billie eilish."
