A 'Jeopardy' Contestant Mixed Up Panic At The Disco With Fall Out Boy

One unfortunate Jeopardy contestant became the laughing stock of the emo world earlier this week when he unforgivably mistook Panic! At The Disco for Fall Out Boy.

Host Alex Trebek asked “In 2018 this band ‘didn’t have a dime but I always had a vision, always had high, high hopes'” and though James buzzed in quickly, he got shut down when he said "Who is Fall Out Boy?" The other two contestants just stared blankly before time ran out. FOR SHAME.

P!ATD weren't going to let poor old James get away with it, either. On Tuesday (April 23), the band tweeted "hey look ma, we…… made it?!?" with a clip of the video. Fall Out Boy took it one step further by retweeting the message and adding "i’ll take you’ll get ‘em next time, James' for $500, Alex."

Fans were personally insulted by James' mess up. One user tweeted "To think I ever liked James," while another wrote "the guy who knows literally everything thinks you’re fall out boy i can’t." Someone even gave a shoutout to their "hopeless" mom, who knows Panic! At The Disco.
