Chris Brown is not happy with indie pop band Chvrches' recent comments about his collaboration with Marshmello and Tyga.

Earlier this week, Chvrches issued a statement, sharing their disapproval of Marshmello's decision to work with the two artists, who have both had issues with the law. "We are really upset, confused and disappointed by Marshmello’s choice to work with Tyga and Chris Brown," the band wrote in a statement on Thursday (April 25), referencing Marshmello's latest track "Light It Up."

"We like and respect Mello as a person but working with people who are predators and abusers enables, excuses and ultimately tacitly endorses that behaviour," the statement continued. "That is not something we can or will stand behind."

Chris then fired back, commenting on a post on Chvrches' Instagram account. "BUNCH OF LOSERS. these are the type of people I wish walked in front of a speeding bus full of mental patients," he wrote. "Keep groveling over you own insecurities and hatred. IM BLACK AND PROUD. AND I KNOW ITS HURTS THAT U GUYS ARE STRUGGLING WIT LIFE OR PEACE SO U ARE FORCED TO SEE MY SUCCESS. You aren't even #2 (REMEMBER 2nd place only means YOU LOST FIRST! TA-TA. GOODDAY PEASANTS."

Tyga also responded to the band's statement, commenting on their original post: "[We're] all God’s children. Everyone makes mistakes no ones perfect. Let’s Keep the energy positive."

While the band has yet to officially respond to Tyga or Chris' comments, frontman Lauren Mayberry has shared a number of the scary and abusive DMs she's been receiving on social media in response to Chvrches' initial statement.

As fans know, in 2009, Chris pled guilty to physically abusing his then-girlfriend Rihanna. Then in 2017, his ex-girlfriend Karreuche Tran filed a restraining order against him. A year later, a woman sued Chris and three other people for allegedly raping her in his home multiple times. And in January, the 29-year-old singer was arrested and then released in Paris after a woman filed a rape complaint against him.

Tyga has also been accused of abuse. In 2015, the 29-year-old rapper settled a sexual assault lawsuit against him for $50,000. He was also accused of having a sexual relationship with his ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner before she was of legal consenting age. And in 2016, singer Molly O’Malia, then 14, accused Tyga of sending her "uncomfortable" messages.
