A Starbucks Cup Was Left In A Scene On 'GOT' & Twitter Is Going Crazy

Episode four of the final season of Game of Thrones did not disappoint. "The Last of the Starks" featured a surprise love scene between Jamie and Brienne (it was, in a word, magical), two shocking deaths — we sadly had to say goodbye to both Missandei and Daenerys' dragon Rhaegal — and somehow The North got a Starbucks overnight. Yes, you read that right. Some unlucky GOT staffer accidentally left a Starbucks coffee cup in plain sight in a scene on Sunday night's (May 5) episode.
Twitter went absolute nuts after spotting the cup that appeared in the Winterfell celebratory dining hall scene where Tormund is shown praising King of the North Jon as Daenerys looked on unhappily. (If you didn't catch it, the Starbucks cup appears at the 17:38 mark in the episode) Fans couldn't get over the fact that the cup was left on the table, right in front of Dany, and no one on set or in the editing room seemed to realize it despite the show being in production for the last two years. Despite the misstep, the hilarious Twitter reactions definitely made the uh-oh moment worth it.
Check out some of the funniest reaction tweets below:

The fact that there was a Starbucks cup in tonight’s Game of Thrones that no producers or editors noticed throughout multiple cuts merely 1 week after the DP yelled that the show’s not too dark to see is truly *chef’s kiss*— Jen D'Angelo (@jenlikespizza) May 6, 2019
