72nd Annual Tony Awards - Arrivals

Congratulations are in order for Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer: the happy couple welcomed their first child into the world on Sunday (May 5). Schumer took to Instagram on Monday evening (May 6) to share the happy news with her followers. "10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born," the 37-year-old comedian captioned a sweet shot of her and Fischer posing with their newborn son.

Schumer and Fischer revealed they were expecting a boy just two days before revealing his arrival. While their little one has already made his Instagram debut, his name has not yet been announced. Schumer has not shied away from sharing the gritty details of her pregnancy, including her experience with hyperemesis gravidarum, so fans can most likely expect the comedian to be just as candid about motherhood.

Schumer also frequently made jokes about being on the same pregnancy cycle as Meghan Markle, who welcomed a son just a few hours after Schumer. The Trainwreck actress's birth announcement even included a nod to all the fervor surrounding Baby Sussex's arrival. Who knows...maybe Baby Sussex and Baby Schumer will have playdates one day?

Congratulations again to the happy family!
