Zendaya Turned Into Cinderella In A Fluorescent Gown At The 2019 Met Gala

Did Zendaya just win the 2019 Met Gala? It sure seems like it. The theme this year is "Camp" as defined by Susan Sontag in her 1994 essay "Notes on Camp" and the 22-year-old actress absolutely nailed it with a recreation of Cinderella's iconic gown.
Zendaya walked the carpet with her stylist Law Roach (aka her fairy godmother). In a blue Tommy Hilfiger gown, Zendaya looked every bit the perfect Disney princess. At one point, the pair stopped so Zendaya's IRL fairy godmother could wave his magic wand and light her dress up. Yes, her dress actually glows. Twitter pretty much lost their minds after this memorable Met moment.
ZENDAYA IS THE QUEEN OF THE MET GALA EVERY SINGLE YEAR. That’s it. That’s the tweet. #MetGala pic.twitter.com/fwYqCDZVBs
