Lindsay Lohan Slammed Zendaya's Cinderella-Inspired Met Gala Look

Zendaya was without a doubt one of the best dressed at the 2019 Met Gala. The theme of Monday's ball was "Camp" as defined by Susan Sontag in her 1994 essay "Notes on Camp" and the 22-year-old actress absolutely nailed it with a fluorescent recreation of Cinderella's iconic gown.
Zendaya walked the carpet with her fashion fairy godmother aka her stylist Law Roach. In a custom blue Tommy Hilfiger gown, Zendaya looked every bit the Disney princess. At one point, Roach waved his magic wand and the gorgeous gown lit up. It was a pretty magical moment.
Disney fans loved the look, of course, with some fan accounts sharing photos and videos of the standout look. One account (@DisneyLifestylers) shared a post raving about Zendaya's princess moment. "We are completely obsessed," they wrote. The post quickly garnered thousands of likes, however, Lindsay Lohan was caught leaving some pretty negative comments on the post, as well.
Lindsay compared Zendaya's look to actress Claire Dane's gown for the 2016 Met Gala, which also had a luminescent factor. "Claire Danes did that with @ZacPosen already," Lindsay wrote in her first comment. She quickly followed up with another comment, making sure to actually tag the actress. "@ClaireDanes, you wore this dress so beautifully. I don’t know why someone thinks that they can be more chic. Ever."
It should go without saying: there's room for everybody's gorgeous fashion! No need to throw shade on Instagram, right?
