It's been five years since Vampire Weekend performed on television (due to the fact that they hadn't put out an album since 2013), but all of that has changed. The indie rockers visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (May 7) to celebrate the release of their fourth album, Father of the Bride, which came out this past Friday (May 3).

Joined by their friends Haim, the New York-based band played "This Life" for the first time on late night television. They also performed the album's closing track, "Jerusalem, New York, Berlin" with Danielle Haim, who is featured on a number of songs on FOTB.

Watch both performances below.

The Fallon appearance follows a seven-hour long show Vampire Weekend played at NYC's Webster Hall on Sunday (May 5). The band will continue celebrating the release of its first album in six years with a special iHeartRadio album release party on Thursday (May 9). Find out how you can stream the event here.

Later this month, Vampire Weekend head out on the road for an extensive North American tour to support FOTB. The tour begins May 17 at the Hangout Music Fest and wraps up October 8 at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. Check out a full list of tour dates here.
