Light Rail Construction To Begin On Mill Ave; Expect Traffic Delays

Construction work is about to begin on Mill Ave beginning Monday and lasting through August 15th.

Here's the deal... the northbound lanes of Mill Avenue will be torn up to make way for Tempe’s new light rail. Most of the contstructionMost of the construction will happen on Mill Avenue between University Drive and Rio Salado Drive, causing a mile less of on-street parking.Luckily Arizona State University is on a summer schedule with less students driving which will help with traffic flow. So here's the deal... most of the construction will occur on Mill Avenue between University Drive and Rio Salado Drive. With all this... it will cause a mile less of on-street parking.
