Royal baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was just born last week and he already has his first conspiracy theory. Some royal watchers have begun speculating that little Archie was actually born two weeks before his birth was actually announced. While this is (most likely) not true, there is some compelling evidence to suggest that, perhaps, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry kept Archie's arrival private for some time before announcing his arrival. Here's a run down of all the clues:

1) Meghan and Harry announced they planned to keep Archie's birth private.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they'd keep their son's arrival private at the beginning of April. At this point in time, Meghan was nearly nine months pregnant and expected to give birth at the end of April. They announced Archie's arrival on May 6.

2) An ambulance and medical helicopter were spotted outside Frogmore Cottage over a week for the birth announcement

Rumors swirled for some time before Archie's arrival that Meghan and Harry were going to opt for a home birth. Shortly after announcing Archie's birth, it was confirmed that Meghan was "whisked away" to a hospital to give birth. An ambulance and medical helicopter were spotted near their home on the grounds of Windsor Castle on Friday, April 26. Perhaps those vehicles did the whisking away?

3) Queen Elizabeth, Prince William, and Kate Middleton all quietly visited Frogmore Cottage before the birth announcement.

Queen Elizabeth, Prince William and Kate Middleton all quietly visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the days after the ambulance and helicopter were spotted on the grounds of Windsor Castle. Sure, they could've just been popping in to check out their new digs or...they went to meet the newest member of the royal family.

4) Prince Harry may have had a slip of the tongue during Archie's debut

While introducing baby Archie to the world with Meghan by his side, Prince Harry may have spilled the beans about Archie's arrival. "Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks, so we’re sort of monitoring how this changing process happens over this next month really," Harry said. "But his looks are changing every single day so who knows.” At the time of Archie's debut, however, he was only three days old. Harry did correct himself, though royal watchers have latched on to his "two weeks" comment and applied it as proof of their conspiracy theory. Some also believe there's no way Archie had changed that much over the course of just three days.

There's certainly some compelling clues, however, it seems unlikely that Meghan and Harry would outright lie about their son's birthday. When announcing Archie's birth, they included his birthday in the announcement:

We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.
The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.
More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.

What do you think? Was Archie actually born a week or two before his birth was announced?
