John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum hits the big screen today (May 17), and before heading to the movie theater, Bush fans can hear the band's new song "Bullet Holes," which is featured in the film, as well as on the band's upcoming new album The Mind Plays Tricks on You.
"Bullet Holes" serves as John Wick 3's end title track, which was produced by Tyler Bates (John Wick 1 &2, Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2). In a statement, Bates explained of working with Bush's Gavin Rossdale on the song, "'Bullet Holes' is one of four songs Gavin Rossdale and I wrote together for the forthcoming Bush record. At that time, I was working on the score for this film and once Gavin sang the chorus, I felt the song would be a perfect compliment to the movie. We sent the track to the director, Chad Stahelski, and he was into it. We are very psyched that this song is now part of the John Wick world."
Bush's new song "Bullet Holes" also comes with a visual, which features footage from the new John Wick movie.
As Bush gears up for their new album The Mind Plays Tricks on You, the band is also preparing for the launch of their ALT-IMATE Tour," which they are co-headlining with LIVE and will see both groups celebrating the 25th anniversary of their respective landmark albums: Sixteen Stone and Throwing Copper. Our Lady Peace will be joining the tour as special guest.
The "ALT-IMATE Tour" kicks off on June 6th at Foxwoods Resort Casino - The Grand Theater in Connecticut, and then stop in cities across North America including Boston, Alberta, Holmdel, Kansas City, New Orleans, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami and more, before wrapping up on September 8th in Rochester, Michigan.
