Riverdale star Lili Reinhart has issued a strong warning to fans about imposter ride-sharing drivers after the star had her own scary experience.
On Sunday (June 2), the 22-year-old took to Twitter to sound off on her own experience after arriving at the airport. "PSA: I was just ushered to a car by someone posing to be an airport cab/Uber driver. I got to his car and there were absolutely no signs that he was a professional service driver. So I did NOT get into the car," she revealed in the message to her 2.71 million followers. "Please pay attention and make smart decisions out there."
Reinhart's warning comes with strong merit, especially after the recent murder of Samantha Josephson, the University of South Carolina college senior, who hopped into a car that she thought was her Uber driver in March. Josephson's parents have since launched an online campaign called #WhatsMyName in order to raise awareness for ride-sharing safety.

Seriously... please be careful out there. You don’t have to be nice or worry about being rude. Trust your gut. It could save you.
