This is one for the memory books.
Not only was it exciting to see Brandi Carlile take the stage at the CMT Awards on Wednesday (June 5), she brought out country music legend Tanya Tucker to sing with her in. This was a special moment for the two talented ladies as Brandi produced Tanya's upcoming album While I'm Livin. This will be Tanya's first album in 17 years.
Brandi and Tanya surprised the CMT audience when Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Lauren Alaina, Deana Carter, Rae Lynn and Carly Pearce joined them on stage during their performance. This was the girl power moment we never knew we needed and it was everything.
Brandi and Tanya kicked things off with a duet of "Delta Dawn," which Tanya originally released back in 1972. The crowd went wild when they were joined by their fellow country music queens. It wasn't long before social media was chiming in, praising the epic team up.

We need these ladies to perform together again. It was simply that good. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for a reunion set ASAP.
