Last year, Build-A-Bear Workshop held a promotion where rather than paying the usual $35 for an stuffed animal, customers were able to pay their age (except for babies under the age of 1 who got theirs for just $1 and anyone over the age of 29 would just have to pay $29 for theirs). Well, the sale worked and people flocked to their stores, but there were way too many people who wanted to take part and the lines at locations across the country became too long for mall security guards to handle so police were called in and shut down many of the sales over safety concerns.
