HUGE Huntsman Spider Eats a Possum [PHOTOS]

An Australian man captured the rare moment a huntsman attempted to devour a tiny possum!

His wife posted photos of the spider enjoying his meal to a Facebook group, Tasmanian Insects and Spiders.

According to Australia Museum arachnology collection manager Graham Milledge this is a "fairly rare" event.

He told the Guardian, “it’s the first time I’ve seen a pygmy possum as prey.” He said it was more common to see huntsman eat small birds, frogs and geckos.
