New Tenant for Marketplace Mall Macy's Still Unknown

Monroe County's industrial development agency has taken procedural votes that will allow a new tenant to occupy the vacant Macy's store at Marketplace Mall.

Mall developer Wilmorite still isn't naming that potential tenant because of a non-disclosure agreement. But News10NBC reports the county agency -- Imagine Monroe -- voted to condemn property around the empty store. Bringing in the new tenant reportedly involves parking rights around the building.

The D&C previously reported that the University of Rochester Orthopedic Center was interested in moving there.
