Shay Mitchell is pregnant! The Pretty Little Liars actress revealed that she is with child during an emotional YouTube video posted to her channel, as well as a topless Instagram photo showing off her growing baby bump!

In the video, which also features her boyfriend Matte Babel who she has been dating since early 2017, Mitchell explains how hard it has been keeping her pregnancy a secret until she was ready to share the exciting news. She explained, "When you're in the public eye, there are some things you wanna just keep a secret until you feel ready. This, for me, has been the hardest."

The clip goes on to show Shay sharing the news with those closest to her, as well as footage of her growing baby bump and how she's tried to hide it despite many public appearances over the last several months. "Months of hiding, it's been a really lonely journey," she describes. "I think pregnancy is awesome, for the most part, but it's also really f****** lonely."

Shay adds, "It didn't feel right to just put up a photo, and be like, 'I'm pregnant,' and have people think that everything as been peaches and rainbows. This is real life, and I want people to come along with me on this journey in real time."

And in her Instagram photo showing off her bump, she jokingly used the caption, "Does this mean I'm allowed to drive in the car pool lane at all times now?"

Shay's pregnancy news comes after revealing that she suffered a miscarriage last year in a heartbreaking note on her Instagram stories from January. She shared with fans, "Having so many people follow me on Instagram and read my posts is both incredibly humbling and hugely uplifting. The support and affection that so many of you show me lifts me up during even my darkest days, one of which happened last year after I miscarried and lost the child of my hopes and dreams." She added, "In the spirit of the new year, I think that we need to remember that we are all on this journey together -- in good times and in bad -- and to remind ourselves that we seldom really know or understand the struggles and hardships that other people are going through."
