The United States Women's Soccer team has won back-to-back World Cups, defeating the Netherlands 2-0 in Lyon, France. The U.S. dominated most of the match and were stymied in the first half by the amazing play of Netherlands goalkeeper Sari van Veenendaal.

Megan Rapinoe was finally able to break through in the second half, scoring her sixth goal of the tournament on a penalty kick. Rose Lavelle gave the U.S. a 2-0 lead with a goal just eight minutes later.

This is the fourth World Cup win for the U.S. women's team.

“We’re crazy, that’s what makes us special,” Rapinoe said the game. “We’ll do anything to win.”
