Anne Hathaway is pregnant!
On Wednesday (July 24), the 36-year-old actress took to Instagram to announce that she's expecting her second child with husband Adam Shulman. "It’s not for a movie... #2," she captioned of a black-and-white photo of her showing off her baby bump with a mirror selfie.
The Serenity star went on to hint that she struggled to get pregnant and offered hope to those who are going through similar infertility issues. "All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love 💕," she wrote.
Adam and Anne's little one will join their three-year-old son Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, whom they welcomed in March 2016.
A year after Jonathan's birth, a source told E! News, Anne "wants more kids," but she's waiting a little while before trying again. "She wanted to wait until Jonathan was a little older before they started trying again," said the insider. "She wants Jonathan to have a sibling."
In June, The Hustle star opened about how her life has changed since welcoming her son. "Before I had [Jonathan], I sensed this pressure to fill my schedule. If I wasn’t working, I felt like I was wasting time," she explained in an interview with Shape magazine. "Now I know I have to build in breaks in my year, and there are times when I’m just not available to work because it’s important for me to be home with him."
"So I shop a lot less. I cook a lot more. I read a lot more," she added. "I write a lot more. I communicate a lot more. I make more time for the things that matter to me because suddenly I have more time."
