Zac Brown Band Releases New Deep-Cut Single 'Leaving Love Behind'

Zac Brown Band just dropped a new heart-wrenching single titled, "Leaving Love Behind." The new ballad features Zac Brown's raw vocals paired with a simple piano melody and reminiscent lyrics about a lost love. 

In addition to the release of their new song, the band also shared the news that their sixth studio album,The Owl, will be released this fall on September 20. The new album is expected to showcase a deeper side of the Zac Brown Band, starting with the new single, "Leaving Love Behind."

"We've been working tirelessly on this album over the past couple years, ensuring every detail is perfect," Brown shares. "We are always pushing ourselves as musicians by blurring genre boundaries and incorporating all kinds of music we are personally inspired by, elevating what we are capable as a group. The Owl follows Zac Brown Band's 2017 album, Welcome Home. Prior toWelcome Home, the band released four studio albums starting with their 2008 debut studio album, The Foundation followed by You Get What You Give in 2010, Uncaged in 2012, and JEKYLL + HYDE in 2015. These albums gave us fan-favorite hit songs like "Chicken Fried," "Toes," "As She's Walking Away," "Colder Weather" and many more.
