BTS is joining the fight against bullying in their new campaign with UNICEF.

On UN International Friend Day (July 30), the K-pop band unveiled a visual ad in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund’s campaign to #Endviolence and bullying in schools by spreading kindness.

"Our Love MYSELF campaign is all about encouraging every young person to find the love from within themselves & spreading that love to others. We want everyone to take part in ending violence by sharing love & kindness," the band tweeted along with the video.

The two-and-a-half-minute clip shows the septet looking into an illuminated pool of steaming water, which allows them to see multiple kids being bullied across the world. In a revelatory moment of hope, each victim turns to the sounds of BTS’ single “Answer: Love Myself,” which inspires a renewed sense happiness in those affected.

As the commercial fades to white, the following message appears: "Choose respect. Choose support. Choose kindness. Brighten someone's day with a kind note - online or IRL. Share the note using #ENDviolence."

The project comes in tandem with BTS’ own #BTSLoveMyself campaign, which aims to discourage violence against children and teens with hopes they’ll be able to dream toward a greater and healthier future. Since its inception, BTS’ hashtag has been used over 10.4 million times on social media.

“School is often the place where many of us meet our best friends,” UNICEF said in a statement about their campaign. “Yet, with one in three students aged 13-15 experiencing bullying, for many young people school can be tough. That’s why BTS are calling on young people to brighten someone’s day with kindness, as part of UNICEF’s campaign to #ENDviolence in and around schools.

“Leave a kind note for someone, either in real life or on the internet, and share it for others to see,” the statement continues. “By choosing respect, support and kindness, we can make our communities safe and supportive.”
