Just a few days after breaking their silence following the college admissions scandal, it's been revealed Lori Loughli's daughters have been kicked out of their sorority at USC. Though Olivia Jade and Bella Giannulli have not been officially expelled from the school, they reportedly have not returned to campus since their parents' involvement in the massive college admissions scam came to light.
“Olivia and Bella were both in Kappa Kappa Gamma and the sorority has since kicked them out and is trying to distance themselves from the situation as much as possible,” a source close to the girls told Us Weekly. They're apparently taking everything “day by day,” the source explained, adding “this has strengthened their bond more than anything possibly could.”
This isn't the first blow Olivia Jade and Bella have been dealt as a result of the scam. In addition to being dropped by Kappa Kappa Gamma, Olivia Jade lost a number of brand sponsorships for her YouTube channel. “Olivia’s world came crashing down quicker in terms of getting dumped and losing all of her business, but this all unfolded slower for Bella and it’s been more emotionally devastating," the insider continued.
While Olivia Jade and Bella deal with the fall out for themselves, their parents are preparing for their upcoming legal battle. They both face up to 40 years in prison for their involvement in the scandal. The Fuller House actress and husband Mossimo Giannulli are expected to next appear in court some time in August.
