Funeral services set for Cedric Benson

Funeral services have been set for former Texas Longhorns and NFL standout Cedric Benson. Benson was killed last weekend in a motorcycle wreck in Austin.

Public visitation will be held on Friday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home at 6100 North Lamar Boulevard in Austin. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. James Missionary Baptist Church at 3417 E. Marin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Austin. 

Benson was 36.
