Kane Brown Reveals Why He Deleted His Twitter Account

Kane Brown's Twitter account was deactivated yesterday (August 30). Initially, there was speculation that the reason had something to do with the CMA Award nominations revealed Wednesday (August 28), however that was not the case.

The "Good As You" singer cleared everything up in a comment on iHeart Radio's 96.9 The Kat's Instagram post about the singer's deleted account. "Bro if people don't stop with this.....why would I delete twitter because of the cmas? I deleted it so I'm not on my phone constantly and can focus on music and my family," Brown responds, adding, "if I was mad ida deleted Instagram too."

Further, Brown turned to his Instagram story to give a more general explanation to his fans. "So my management team will be running my twitter and Facebook from now on so I can focus on music and my family and stay off my phone," he shares. "It's taking over my life lol so Instagram will be the only thing u can get ahold of me on at least until the next album (sic)."

So, there you have it folks. Sounds like it has nothing to do with the CMA Award nominations. As it turns out, Brown just wants to focus more on his family and his music instead of being consumed by his phone.

Nomination or not, Brown has had quite the journey this past year. In November of 2018 he released his No. 1 sophomore album, Experiment. This album brought fan-favorite hits like "Good As You" and "Lose It."

Additionally, outside of his career, Brown and his wife, Katelyn Jae announced in April that they were expecting a baby girl, Kingsley Rose Brown.
