LaShawn Daniels has died.
According to multiple reports, the Grammy-award winning songwriter and producer passed away at the age of 41. His cause of death has yet to be confirmed. However, early reports suggest that he died in a car accident.
LaShawn was a music industry heavyweight. He worked with some of the biggest names in music across genres including George Michael, Michael Jackson, Mary J. In 2000, LaShawn won his first Grammy for songwriting on Destiny’s Child’s smash hit "Say My Name" in 2000.
The legendary songwriter is survived by his wife of 13 years, April Daniels, and their three sons, Omarr, Tahshon and Jett.

Yooooo I’m lost. Lashawn Daniels died?!!!! I’m stuck. This man took my vocal ability to new levels while working in Dirty Money. One of the funniest people with the best heart. A rare talent and a beautiful soul.
