Salt-N-Pepa Are Getting A Lifetime Biopic

The star-studded finale of Finding Ashley Stewart tour came to a close on Saturday (Sept. 14) in Brooklyn, NY at the Kings Theater after traveling across the country. The competition created to find "a woman who effortlessly embodies the qualities that the brand stands for: leadership, confidence, resilience, kindness and public service."

During an interview with Honey German on the pink carpet, legendary hip-hop duo Salt-N-Pepa announced their upcoming biopic mini-series that will air on Lifetime. The duo also elaborated that they are set to executive produce the show.

According to EW, "The miniseries, simply titled Salt-N-Pepa, will follow the story of nursing students Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton as they navigate the hip-hop landscape following their first recording experience with a friend’s school project.

Lifetime has yet to announce a date for the now highly anticipated series.
