Jesse McCartney Is Engaged To Longtime Girlfriend Katie Peterson

Girls everywhere will be crying this morning after finding out that our teenage love, Jesse McCartney, is officially off the market!

The ‘Beautiful Soul’ singer is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, actress Katie Peterson.

PEOPLE reports that the 32-year-old singer dropped to his knee and proposed on Friday as the couple were dining with friends at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in LA.

“The couple was with a group of friends as McCartney got down on one knee,” a source told the publication.

“The whole restaurant fell silent as he asked her to marry him and went into a loud applause and cheered when she said yes!”

Both Jesse and Katie shared the exciting news on Instagram overnight, posting an adorable selfie that showed off the dazzling diamond ring.

“Locked it up,” wrote McCartney alongside his image of the pair kissing.

“SEVEN YEARS…and also forever,” Katie captioned her shot of her arms around her fiancee’s neck.

The proposal reportedly came on the pair’s anniversary and they spent the day getting pampered with manicures and pedicures (Clearly Jesse knows how important it is for a gal’s hand to look good for that ring!)
