Lauren Alaina Cha-Cha's To Shania Twain On 'Dancing With The Stars' Debut

Lauren Alaina made her Dancing With the Stars debut on Monday night (September 16). The country singer and her dance partner, Gleb Savchenko, kicked off the new season dancing the cha-cha with a touch of country. The two performed their routine to Shania Twain's classic hit song, "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!"

The judges, composed of Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, gave Alaina and Savchenko a score of 19 of a possible 30 points. Inaba complimented Alaina's "loose" movements adding "you've got style."

Alaina was among the top performances of the night coming up close behind Bachelorette star, Hannah Brown who earned a 20 out of 30. Leading the pack with a score of 21 out of 30 was actor James Van Der Beek.

You can watch Alaina's debut on Dancing With The Stars below. Additionally, yesterday (September 16) the country singer announced her new single, "Getting Good" was officially sent to country radio. She shared the news earlier in the day on her Instagram story.

"As is today already wasn't the best day ever, we're doing the premiere of Dancing With the Stars tonight," Alaina says. "I'm so excited. I just did my run through and it went really well, so I feel a little more calm, and I have a big surprise. My new single, 'Getting Good,' went to radio today."

She continues, "I released a new single today to radio, and you guys can hear it September 27 on all digital platforms," adding, "I am so proud of it and cannot wait for you to hear it. Today is my day."
