The New York Giants Officially Bench Eli Manning For Rookie Daniel Jones

Eli Manning has been the starting quarterback for the New York Giants for over 15 years now but it looks as if his time on the field is slowly coming to an end as after the Giants lost to the Buffalo Bills 28-14. The team announced early this morning that the Giants will start rookie Daniel Jones this coming Sunday for their road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

According to head Coach Pat Shurmur, said he spoke to Eli & Daniel about the change

"Eli was obviously disappointed, as you would expect, but he said he would be what he has always been, a good teammate, and continue to prepare to help this team win games. Daniel understands the challenge at hand, and he will be ready to play on Sunday.
