In 2018, Brad Paisley told Cody Alan that he shouldn't run lines with his actress wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley. During their sit-down interview, Brad said, "There was a time that I tried that, but I am not good at that. I don't have the patience to be an actor either. There is a lot of patience to be an actor."
So, has Brad turned over a new leaf and found some added patience in 2019?
The "Mud On The Tires" singer recently announced that he is headed for Amazon as the star and executive producer of a new TV comedy series, Fish Out of Water, which will run on Amazon's streaming platform.
Now, Brad is dropping the news that he is also headed to prime-time television!
Brad is set to host and serve as the executive producer for the hour-long ABC show, 'Brad Paisley Thinks He's Special.' The show will be filmed in Nashville and will feature some of Brad's closest celebrity friends including, Kelsea Ballerini, Hootie & the Blowfish, the Jonas Brothers, Tim McGraw, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Peyton Manning and the host of the Bachelor franchise, and Chris Harrison.
"I am so excited for Brad to be able to turn this fun, down-home country idea into a reality on ABC," said Rob Mills, senior vice president, Alternative Series, Specials & Late Night, ABC Entertainment. "We all know him as an award-winning country superstar, and now we get the chance to see his comedic talents as he brings this variety special to life with the help of an incredible roster of A-list talent."
