Meghan Markle Was Spotted Without Her Engagement Ring

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently on a royal tour of South Africa. While baby Archie's official debut definitely stole the spotlight from his parents, some royal watchers still noticed something off about the Duchess of Sussex. Meghan hasn't been wearing her engagement ring to any of her engagements on this tour.

Now, don't worry about her relationship status: the Duchess is still wearing her wedding ring. Not to mention, she and Prince Harry couldn't look happier than they do on their tour. The choice to leave her gorgeous engagement ring behind, though, has fans wondering why the Duchess didn't want to rock the diamond bling. Meghan paired her simple gold wedding band with a cute Jennifer Meyer ring instead. You can see her engagement ring-less hand in the below photos.

Meghan reportedly has a simple reason for leaving her engagement ring behind while attending her royal engagements. According to Hello, the Duchess wanted to be "low key" while doing meet and greets with the public. Meghan's other fashion choices for the royal tour seem to reflect this mindset, as well. She was seen wearing casual attire, such as jeans, a denim jacket and cargo dress, during her visit. She's even repeated a few outfits she wore during her royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji last year.

Should Meghan and Harry attend more formal engagements while on tour Meghan may break out her engagement ring. In the meantime, though, the Duchess is all about looking "low key" during her time in South Africa.
