2017 The Governors Ball Music Festival - Day 1

It's been two years since Bleachers released their sophomore album Gone Now, but fans may not have to wait too much longer for its followup.

On Saturday (September 28), the band shared a blurry photo of Jack Antonoff in the studio on Instagram. "into focus ... i’ll be coming :: hi from the studio" the caption reads. Antonoff's indie pop project has been working on new music for at least a month, initially sharing a "hi from the studio" message on Twitter on August 25.

Could we be getting a new Bleachers album in 2020? It certainly seems that way. Check out the Instagram post below.

Antonoff may have taken a break from Bleachers, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been busy the last couple years. Aside from working on songs for P!nk, St. Vincent, and Kevin Abstract, the writer and producer also produced tracks for Taylor Swift's Lover and Lana Del Rey's Norman F**king Rockwell this year.

He co-produced Swift's track "Lover" and shared a series of tweets upon the song's release. "the part i’m most proud of is her voice drowned in verb," he wrote about the recording process, "cuts right through and sits all around you at the same time."
