Cincinnati Bengals v Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger managed to get fined in a game in which he didn't even play. Roethlisberger is recovering from season-ending elbow surgery and was on the sidelines during the Steelers Monday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was wearing an Apple Watch, which violates the NFL's policy against having an electric device that capable of sending or receiving messages.

Roethlisberger is reportedly "livid" about the $5,000 fine and plans to file an appeal because he did not receive advanced notice that it is against the rules to wear an Apple Watch.

According to ESPN, Roethlisberger didn't even realize he was wearing the watch. He is unable to use his right arm as a result of the elbow surgery, and his wife helped him get dressed before the game. She slipped the watch on his left wrist before he left for the stadium.
