A major change is coming to Instagram this week. The social media platform has decided to get rid of one of their more controversial features. The "following" activity tab will be removed, so, you won't be able to creep on what other people are liking on Instagram anymore.

If you aren't familiar with the "following" activity tab, it's located in the section where you check out your Instagram likes. It allows users to see what their friends and followers were “liking” on Instagram. Now, though, that tab will now only show which users are interacting with your own photos.

“People didn’t always know that their activity is surfacing,” Vishal Shah, Instagram’s head of product, explained to Buzzfeed in a statement. “So you have a case where it’s not serving the use case you built if for, but it’s also causing people to be surprised when their activity is showing up.”

For people who are familiar with the "following" activities tab, it's known as a feature that lets you creep on what your friends and significant others get up to on Instagram. Those users were saddened by the news that the tab will be removed from Instagram.

The tab is expected to be removed some time later this week.
