Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Reveal New Details About Their Love Story

To say Kanye West fell head over heels for Kim Kardashian would be an understatement.

In a rare interview for the reality star's upcoming E! True Hollywood Story special, Mr. West detailed how he fell hard and fast for his now-wife of five years when he first set his sights on her nearly twenty years ago.

"Anytime I was around her or I saw her there was a magnetic attraction to this force of energy," he recalled. "She was good, pure, happy, loving, brave, courageous, strong."

As fans know, it took the power couple a decade to officially begin dating in April 2012. As Kim shared, after years of being friends it finally felt right. "I met Kanye in 2002. He would ask everyone who I was, and they always said like 'Oh, she has a boyfriend.' We just always kept on connecting and coming into each other's lives. Then, he invited me to Paris to his fashion show, and that's when it happened," the 38-year-old business mogul revealed. "That's when we started our relationship. And I was like 'Sh*t, why didn't this happen sooner?' It was just right."

While the two were in love, Kim admitted that they received a lot of flack for their relationship in the beginning, specifically because of how people perceived her. "I mean, everyone would tell him 'You can't be with her, she's a reality star. She's going to sink your career!'" Kim admitted. "And [Kanye] was just like, 'But I love her. Like, I don't care.'"

Kim's E! True Hollywood Story airs Sunday (October 13) at 10 p.m. ET on E!
