Machine Gun Kelly knows he needs help, and after his latest onstage meltdown, he promises he's going to get it.
On Friday (October 27), the "I Think I'm OKAY" rapper was caught on video seemingly shoving a stagehand in a heated moment of frustration. TMZ shared footage of the outburst, which showed a pissed off MGK confronting the stagehand after his guitar didn't work during a song.
In the clip, you see an annoyed MGK realize his guitar isn't working during what was supposed to be his guitar solo during his single "Hollywood Wh*re." The 29-year-old rapper then rushes over to the backstage area to see what's going on and is confronted by a frantic stagehand.
As noted by TMZ, MGK "seems to make some sort of physical contact with the guy before rushing back to the other side of the stage, with the stagehand following close behind with a mic stand. Once they're on the left side again, Machine Gun Kelly appears to shove his guitar into the stagehand's chest, clearly frustrated with him as the guy scurries off back to the right again."
Things didn't end there. As the song continues to play MGK stands in the back and appears to "lurk over to the stagehand," who appeared "upset and flustered." MGK then "climbs a box behind the main stage and stares the dude down from above, and then LEAPS down and follows him backstage as the guy tries to get away."
Following the incident, MGK took to Twitter to apologize for his actions, and promise to get help. "tonight the frustrations from my personal life came out on the stage. sorry to my fans and my band. i’ll get help after tour is over," he wrote. "im just addressing the obvious. anyways, tour is nowhere near over so let’s go up till the calendar hits 2O2O 🔥."
Hours later MGK added: "lost my boy over that sh*t 😪."
