Jennifer Aniston just teased something big for all you Friends fans!
During Monday’s episode (October 28) of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actress revealed she and her former castmates from the show were putting together something special — but it’s not what you think. This all went down when Ellen DeGeneres welcomed Aniston out as a surprise guest alongside Friends superfan Charlie Puth, who finally had his chance to meet the star but sadly had his hopes let down when the topic of a possible revival of the hit sitcom came up. “Like a reboot of the show?” Aniston asked, to which she answered, “No.”
“We would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is. So we’re just trying. We’re working on something,” she added, to which the “Mother” musician offered to sing the new theme song for the project. DeGeneres quipped that a movie was in the works, and the actress jokingly added it’s a “huge, huge movie.”
DeGeneres didn’t let Aniston off that easy, though, as she insisted something really big must be going down after the Dumplin’ star posted her now-viral Instagram group shot with former costars Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc. When addressing how the picture came together, Aniston explained it was because they simply “miss each other and we all happened to be in the same part of the world.”
The photo, if you didn't know, wasn't just Aniston's introduction to the app — it also earned her a Guinness World Record. She gained one million followers in just five hours and 16 minutes of joining Instagram, besting royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who garnered one million followers in five hours and 45 minutes in April.
