We already knew Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie respected each other as musicians — they collaborated together, after all — but we didn't know they were tight enough for the Panic! At The Disco frontman to invite the pop star to a dinner party at his house. During a recent radio interview, Swift recounted attending "the most emo dinner party," which also included Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, because of course it did.

“I was actually at the most emo dinner party the other night,” she divulged after being asked if she was an "emo kid." “Brendon Urie and Sarah, his amazing wife, had me over. I show up, and it’s like Brendon and Pete Wentz sitting next to each other, and I just got to ask them every single question."

“Pete Wentz is probably — if I had to pick a favorite lyricist — it would be a tie between him and Lana Del Rey,” she continued. “‘Blank Space’ is a song that’s just zingers, one after another after another, which I definitely learned from listening to Fall Out Boy.”

This isn't the first time Swift has praised FOB. During a recent Rolling Stone cover story she named the band as a major lyrical influence.

"I love Fall Out Boy so much. Their songwriting really influenced me, lyrically, maybe more than anyone else," she gushed. "They take a phrase and they twist it. 'Loaded God complex/Cock it and pull it'? When I heard that, I was like, 'I’m dreaming.'”
