THROWBACK 1984: Dick Clark Interviews Madonna For The First Time

Throwback Thursday. We flash back to January 1984. Madonna makes her first appearance on American Bandstand and performs "Holiday" to an audience of screaming fans who seem to already know they are in the presence of someone who is going to someday, as she put it, "rule the world." We love Madonna and everytime I see this clip I love her even more! I absolutely LOVE the way she dances in the performance. I absolutely LOVE what she says to Dick Clark in the interview afterwards.
