After seeing Bohemian Rhapsody, admit it, you cranked Queen in the car on the way home.
OK, if you didn’t do that, you’ve definitely belted out your best rendition of Freddie at least once or 12,000 times.
And if you’ve ever thought you could easily be a stand-in for Adam Lambert, there’s now an online test to see how much you can really sing like Freddie Mercury.
The ‘FreddieMeter’ gets users to pick from four Queen bangers: We Are the Champions, Somebody to Love, Don’t Stop Me Now and Bohemian Rhapsody… and, using artificial intelligence, rates just how closely singers can mimic Freddie Mercury’s voice.
“For decades, fans have belted out the song’s iconic lyrics alongside Freddie Mercury’s one-of-a-kind vocals, but how many can really sing it just like Freddie?” asks the creators.
It shows users “how closely their voice matches Freddie Mercury’s legendary range by analysing the singer’s pitch, timbre, and melody to assign them a score of 0 to 100.”

The #FreddieChallenge also supports the Mercury Phoenix Trust, a charity founded by Queen members to raise awareness and funds for the fight against HIV and AIDS.
