Justin Timberlake Holds Hands With Alisha Wainwright At New Orleans Bar

Justin Timberlake and Alisha Wainwright appeared to be getting pretty close this weekend, but looks can be deceiving.

The “SexyBack” crooner, who has been married to Jessica Biel since 2012, was spotted hanging out with his 30-year-old Palmer costar on Saturday night (November 23) at a New Orleans bar, where The Sun captured the castmates on camera and video enjoying each other’s company among friends. Pictures from the stars’ night out revealed Wainwright resting her hand on Timberlake’s knee, whereas another appeared to show the musician discreetly holding her hand.

Onlookers said the pair were “smiling and laughing” together and that Timberlake at one point “was playing with her hands.” What’s more, The Sun reported the actor didn’t appear to be wearing his wedding ring during the night out.

Despite how it looks, however, a source with direct knowledge of the situation says there’s nothing to see, claiming the interaction was “completely innocent.” They added: “It’s a balcony with a group of people and it was definitely nothing happening. He’s down there shooting [his film] Palmer, they’re starring in the movie together and they’re cool and everybody was just hanging out.”

Wainwright’s rep also added: “There is no validity to this speculation. They are currently working on a project together. Members of the cast and crew were all together.”

“The video may look a way, but literally it was nothing,” they continued. “It was some friends, members of the team, crew and people like that,” they continued. “They all know each other and were hanging. Like come on, they’re on an open balcony in New Orleans and he’s famous. It was nothing.”

Timberlake, who shares 4-year-old son Silas with Biel, plays Wainwright’s lover in the upcoming football drama.
