Lizzo slowed things down at the 2019 American Music Awards, performing her powerful ballad "Jerome."

The recent eight-time Grammy-nominated singer took the Microsoft Theatre stage on Sunday (November 24), barefoot and dressed in a tulle-covered, purple gown as she performed the soulful single, which is off her 2019 album Cuz I Love You, while standing atop a rotating pedestal.

While Lizzo put her famous twerking skills on ice for the slowed-down performance, she was still "100% that b*tch" as she delivered a fiery (and good as hell) performance, telling Jerome to "take his a** home."

The "Truth Hurts" singer's show-stopping AMAs performance came just days after she celebrated her eight Grammy nominations (the most of any of the 2020 nominees), which includes nods in the top four categories: Best New Artist, Record of the Year ("Truth Hurts"), Song of the Year ("Truth Hurts"), and Album of the Year (Cuz I Love You).

“This has been an incredible year for music and I’m just so thankful to even be part of it,” Lizzo tweeted after the nominations were announced. “We are all winners.”

Her other nominations include Best Pop Solo Performance ("Truth Hurts"), Best R&B Performance ("Exactly How I Feel" featuring Gucci Mane), Best Traditional R&B Performance ("Jerome") and Best Urban Contemporary Album (Cuz I Love You).
