One of the Very Few True Thanksgiving Songs

There are plenty of Christmas songs, but only one that we know of that is only about Thanksgiving.

Originally performed on November 21, 1992 as part of the "Weekend Update" segment on Saturday Night Live, "The Thanksgiving Song was written by Adam Sandler and Ian Maxtone-Graham and Robert Smigel. Sandler recorded the songs during a stand-up performance at The Strand in Redondo Beach, California on July 25, 1993. That iversion was featured on Sandler's debut album "They're All Gonna Laugh at You!" and is the version of the song you hear played on Y1025.
