As a part of a skit for Paisley's new TV special, Brad Paisley Thinks He's Special, the two hitmakers got in a truck together for a little backroad action. Paisley was hoping to, in a way, replicate Carpool Karaoke, except in his own way with a little bit more country.
"So basically, I thought all this would be fun, you know, I'll drive a little crazy, and she ends up scaring the living daylights out of me," Paisley told People TV. "She should not have a license. Like this woman needs help. I've never seen this side of her before, and you'll see it. She scares me to death."
Clips from the event show Underwood in a bright pink "Mud On The Tires" t-shirt sliding all around the dirt road. With a big smile on her face, Underwood looks to be having the time of her life, while Paisley, on the other hand, looks a bit freaked out, screaming, "Jesus Take The Wheel!"
On Monday (December 2), Paisley also shared a new song showcasing a more seriously side included in the show. The song called, "Alive Right Now" is a duet by Paisley and St. Jude cancer survivor, Addie Pratt.
"When I got my own ABC special, one thing I wanted to do was shine a light on something good, and boy did I get a chance to do that," Paisley says in a video shared to Instagram. "Everyone meet Addie Pratt, St. Jude cancer survivor. I am so thrilled to get to sing with her. It's one of the highlights of not only the night but of my entire career. She did so great on this performance that we had her come in the studio and record on the record. You hear this on the radio, and you might think it's a top female vocalist in country music, but it's probably someone you've never heard of named Addie Pratt."
Be sure to tune in to ABC on Tuesday, December 3 at 8 p.m. ET to catch this special moment on Brad Paisley Thinks He's Special.
