State Offices Closed For Governor Beshear's Inauguration

(Frankfort, KY) - State offices are closed Tuesday in Frankfort for Governor-elect Andy Beshear's inauguration.
With state offices closed, thousands of parking spaces will be available.

The inauguration parade begins at 10 a.m., the ceremonial oath happens on Capitol grounds at 2 p.m., and the day's festivities wrap up with an inaugural ball at night.
Beshear was officially sworn in as Kentucky's 63rd governor at midnight Tuesday.
On Monday, Beshear finished filling his cabinet with seven appointments and naming three others to top posts in his administration. They include former Kentucky State Supreme Court Justice Mary Noble as justice secretary and former US Attorney Kerry Harvey as public protection secretary.
