It’s been three years since power duo Jay-Z, 50, and Kanye West, 42, were spotted together. Their rocky relationship has been on edge with both rapper taking to the mic to send messages to one another. On Saturday, December 14th, however, the two rappers were spotted exchanging words with smiles on their faces at Diddy’s epic 50th birthday bash. A slew of A-list celebrities were in attendance including, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Dr. Dre, Cardi B, OffsetPharrell Williams, Post Malone, Chadwick Boseman, Tyga, Tyler Perry, Kobe, Machine Gun Kelly, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Usher and so many more.

Cameras captured a light exchange between Hov and ‘Ye, and the two even posed in a photo with Diddy and Pharrell together.

Issues between the two arose after Beyonce and Jay-Z opted out of attending West and Kardashian wedding ceremony in 2014.

“I was hurt about them not coming to the wedding. I understand they were going through some things, but if it’s family, you’re not going to miss a wedding,” West told Charlamagne Tha God during an interview on The Breakfast Club. “I’m not using this interview to put out any negative things, but I gotta state my truth. You just start coming up with all type of crazy things in your head, like ‘Why?'”

In 2017, Jay-Z admitted that the two have always had a troubled relationship.

“It’s a complicated relationship with us. Kanye came into this business on my label. So I’ve always been like his big brother,” he said during an interview with The New York Times’ T Magazine. “And we’re both entertainers. It’s always been like a little underlying competition with your big brother. And we both love and respect each other’s art, too. So it’s like, we both — everyone wants to be the greatest in the world. You know what I’m saying?”

During a Saint Pablo tour stop in Sacramento, California, Kanye went onto stage to send a message to Jay asking for him to pick up a phone.

"Jay-Z, call me bruh. You still ain't call me," 'Ye said onstage. "Jay-Z, I know you got killers. Please don't send 'em at my head. Just call me. Talk to me like a man."

As for now, the two appear to be on good terms and in calm territory.
