One of music’s longest-running feuds has been buried.

Molly Meldrum and Elton John have made peace after their decades-long friendship shattered seven years ago.

The two fell out when Molly’s Sunday Night segment with Elton included an off-the-record talk where Madonna was called a “fairground stripper” and a “nightmare.”

They’ve put it all behind them now on Elton’s tour with the legendary singer dedicating ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’ to him at his Melbourne show.

Elton also gave Molly a signed edition of his book with the message:

“Dear Molly thank you for all the years of love and support, so many great times and so many not so great times although great memories, love Elton.”
