The Royal Family Attend Church On Christmas Day

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may not have been present at Queen Elizabeth's annual Christmas celebrations this year, but Prince George and Princess Charlotte were. For the first time ever, the young royals joined their parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, on the walk from the Queen's Sandringham Estate to St Mary Magdalene Church for the Christmas service.

While 6-year-old George and 4-year-old Charlotte have always been in attendance at the private Christmas celebrations, the walk to church is actually quite public. Royal watchers line the street hoping to get a glimpse or even be personally greeted by the royal family. Until this year, George and Charlotte were considered too young for the walk and stayed behind at Sandringham with their nannies when the rest of the family left for mass.

George and Charlotte walked hand-in-hand with their mom and dad and even said hello to some of the royal watchers waiting for them. Charlotte was seen receiving flowers, as well as curtseying at the Queen. How cute?

Unfortunately, George and Charlotte's little brother, Prince Louis, stayed behind this year. As the youngest Cambridge is not even 2-years-old yet, royal watchers probably won't see him on Christmas day for a few years now.
