How To Make Hoppin' John

White rice and black eyed peas cooked together is traditionally called Hoppin' John, and it's considered good luck to eat it on New Year's Day. It will bring you money! This seems to be a classic recipe right up until the end when they put cheese on top. Never seen that before, and don't plan to try it personally, but to each their own. Happy New Years everyone!
