Carrie Underwood Shares Most Memorable Moment Of 2019 With Adorable Photo

Ahead of ringing in the new year, Carrie Underwood took to social media to share her most memorable moment of 2019. The country star shared a side-by-side snapshot featuring her baby Jacob and family.

The photo on the left shows Underwood holding her baby boy after giving birth at the beginning of the year. The shot on the right shows her husband, Mike Fisher, surrounded by both of their two boys and the family dog.

"And the most memorable of all in 2019...becoming a family of four was the best way to start off the new year as we welcomed our precious Jacob!" Underwood wrote in the caption alongside the photo.

Jacob, born in January 2019, is the baby brother to Underwood and Fisher's firstborn son Isaiah. Fans showed their love for Underwood's sweet post in the comments. "So precious," one fan wrote while another said, "You and your family are beautiful."

Underwood's precious post comes right after her announcement that she will not return to host the CMA Awards again in 2020. The "Drinking Alone" singer has hosted country music's big night for 12 consecutive years.

Fellow country star, Brad Paisley, joined Underwood for the first 11 years while country icons Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire co-hosted in 2019.

"It’s hard to imagine topping what we have accomplished together, so I’ve decided that it’s time to pass the hosting torch (at least for now!) to others that will cherish it and honor it as much as I do," Underwood said at the time.

While fans are sad to see Underwood go, they are excited to see what she has in store for 2020. "I’ve got so many exciting things coming in the new year and beyond, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for all of us. #blessed" "#MemorableMoments."

One of the highlights of 2019 and of my entire career so far was being on stage with the legends that are Reba and Dolly Parton. I’m so proud that we could celebrate the incredible female artists that are part of the legacy of country music, past, present and future, and I’m thankful for the huge audiences all over the world that tuned in to see it. It’s hard to believe that it was my 12th year hosting and I will always treasure every show, from the 11 that I was so lucky to do with my partner in crime and friend for life, Brad Paisley, to sharing the stage with two of my all-time heroes. I’m so incredibly grateful to everyone involved with the CMA Awards all these years. It’s hard to imagine topping what we have accomplished together, so I’ve decided that it’s time to pass the hosting torch (at least for now!) to others that will cherish it and honor it as much as I do. I’ve got so many exciting things coming in the new year and beyond, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for all of us. #blessed #MemorableMoments
